- The Photographers’ Gallery – London
Situated just off Oxford Street in London and even having its own bus stop, The Photographers’ Gallery is one of the UK leading galleries for photography. Showcasing work from some of the biggest photographers in the world, for example; Martin Parr, Robert Capa, Viviane Sassen, Edward Steichen, Sebastião Salgado and many more. The Photographers’ gallery also houses an impressive book shop where you can get the newest photobooks from a number of different publishers and photographers.

- The Open Eye – Liverpool
One of the UK’s first photography dedicated galleries The Open Eye gallery in Liverpool has been around since the late 70’s. Displaying exhibitions by photographers such as Kohei Yoshiyuki, Edgar Martins and more means that the is definitely a gallery to visit. The Open Eye’s archive also holds around 1600 prints from over 100 photographers.
- Atlas Gallery – London
The Atlas Gallery holds roughly 6 exhibitions each year from a number of photographers. In 2005 Atlas became the official gallery agent of Magnum Photos in the UK. Regularly participating in London art and photography fairs the Atlas Gallery is another gallery to look out for.

Stills in Edinburgh was established in 1977 and has become an important gallery for the exhibiting of photography and showcases work that carries resonance within the photographic world. Stills also hold a number of engagement events that anyone can attend in order to learn and fuel their minds.

- Impressions – Bradford
Impressions Gallery in Bradford is an independent not-for-profit gallery that showcases contemporary photography. This 40+ year-old gallery is one of the first photographically dedicated spaces and have previously showed work by Zed Nelson, Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, Ana Fox and David Moore.
